1.02.2016: The Czech Republic had 2,056.9 MW of registered PV capacity at the end of October 2015, according to the latest data from the Czech Energy Regulatory Office (ERU). This is lower than what the authority reported at the end of December 2014, when ERU said the country had 2,060.6 MW of installed PV power. At the end of 2013, the country’s registered PV capacity stood at 2,132.6 MW. In the past years, when this drop in PV capacity was reported by ERU, the authority explained that it had revised down its estimate because some completed PV installations had not been connected to the grid. Of the registered PV capacity at the end of November 2015, 333.0 MW comes from PV plants over 5 MW, 990.8 MW is represented by PV installations with a power between 1 MW and 5 MW and 447.8 MW consists of solar facilities with a capacity of 100 kW to 1 MW. Residential and commercial PV installations up to 100 kW account for the remaining capacity.
